Help answer the question about bluetooth

How important is bluetooth capability in a laptop?
I'm in the market of getting a new laptop, and I've been building one with Dell because they are having a good deal. But I'm wondering should I put in bluetooth capability? All I have right now is a cell phone that uses it, and I haven't used anything else with bluetooth yet. Is bluetooth going to be something extremely important in the near future (3-4 years), that I should just fork the money over for it?

  4. Nope not required at all. When you will require bluetooth seriously then you can purchase a bluetooth dongle afterwards and use it.

  5. Well the wireless headsets use bluetooth to send the information back and forth. I've never heard anyone calling a wireless headset a bluetooth but that would be the same thing. However, bluetooth is also used for file transfers (like pictures from the phone and transfering ringtones to the phone) and for things like updating notes and calendars.

It's hard to find such equipment, since it's better for you to install a car stereo which can support music player itself, that's the fastest way! I'm using an Eonon head unit, it can play the music as well as hand-free calling. Very nice unit!
