The sphere of ever-advancing communication technology is changing the way the world does business. In Austin, one of Forbes.com’s top business cities in the nation, communication is the heart-beat of every operation. Naturally, communication has always been a necessity for businesses, from pigeon-carriers, to the telephone, to the advent of the internet, technology has continued to extend the reach, and swiftness of communication. Today, with world-wide business transactions happening daily, the need for long distance communication has become just as important and easy as close-contact with reliable, far-reaching communications. The newest and hottest addition to businesses communication is internet-based VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

Recent advances in VoIP technology has made it the solution of choice for voice and data service because of its low cost and reliability. VoIP is an enabler system that makes it possible to communicate in ways not previously offered. It makes it possible to connect to the company telephone system from anywhere with a suitable broadband connection. This allows the company to quickly set up branch offices with minimum hardware, link many locations with lower communication and transport cost, utilize existing data links between offices for voice communication. The system also helps employees by allowing them to work from home and connecting easier while traveling. With these improvements, productivity will increase while frustration and communicative head-aches dissipate.

Today, more and more businesses are using VoIP service to cater to voice and data needs. Many businesses are also using their internal local and wide-area network infrastructure to replace traditional telephone networks. VoIP is predicted to overtake traditional telephone services for voice transmission within the next five years. This migration to a single network for voice and data transmission is called “convergence”, and it’s revolutionizing the world of communication by slashing costs and empowering users.

VoIP phone systems in Austin are helping revolutionize the concept of efficiency within the thriving city. VoIP systems offer the convenience of running both voice and data communications over a single network, which will result in significant savings in infrastructure costs. VoIP systems will also reduce monthly phone-network costs as VoIP subscriptions are substantially lower than copper-wire telephone systems. VoIP is bringing a new age of productivity by providing a simple, intuitive user interface, that allows users to configure changes to their liking. Features such as dual-mode cellphones allow users to continue conversations as they move from an outside cell service to an internal Wi-Fi network.

This bundling means employees no longer have to a desktop phone or carry a cellphone. This is also a great way for companies to reduce their telecommunications equipment costs. Maintenance also becomes simpler, because there are fewer devices to oversee. If you’re in the Austin area, and know the importance of inclusion in the technological-communication wave, then you need a VoIP provider that’s reliable and dedicated.

Telco Data sells, services, and installs new and used phone systems in Austin and the surrounding areas. They service systems including Avaya, Lucent, NEC, Nortel, Toshiba, Panasonic, Vodavi, with NEC Ux5000 as their primary product. Telco Data recommend NEC UX5000 because of its features, warranty and realistic pricing. Telco Data also provides voice, data, and fiber cabling. Telco Data is dedicated to the needs of clients and offer simple, real-world solutions for your VoIP needs.
Mobile phone manufacturer Gresso are famous for making luxurious and expensive, they have now announced two new versions of their Avantgarde mobiles. The Luna and the Sol – now they have both previously been available in a Gold range, with real Gold accents. The Luna Gold costs in the region of 5,000 Euros, and the Sol Gold around 7,000 Euros!!!

Now Gresso have announced more affordable versions, with Steel instead of Gold. Now before I tell you the ‘more affordable’ price lets go through the specifications, even though the specs aren’t really the reason someone would buy one of these phones.

They have 2 megapixel cameras, Bluetooth, expandable memories and can operate on Windows Mobile 6. The phones are made from African Blackwood, which like all trees is unique meaning that each phones cover will be slightly different, the steel used is aircraft stainless steel and the screens are 42K sapphire crystal glass. So yes they are very fancy, but swapping gold for steel has apparently made them more affordable…so here comes the prices.

The Gresso Luna Steel and the Sol Steel will retail for around 3,500 Euros! While it is a saving from the Gold versions, it still isn’t in the range of most peoples budgets. If you are looking for a phone that will make people go ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ you can spend a lot less than this and still get a reaction, the Nokia N95 8GB or Apple iPhone will probably do the trick without you having to remortgage in the process.

Apple has always been known for creating innovative products, ever since the launch of its first computer, the Macintosh 128K, in 1984. Whilst Microsoft, with the PC, dominates the market, controlling over 90% of desk top interest, Apple has arguably had the greatest influence in terms of design, with rival companies often borrowing ideas in the areas of portable music players and computer operating systems, with Windows seemingly heavily-influenced by early Mac computers.

Dominating the portable mp3 music player market with its iconic iPod, Apple has sought to transfer some of the iPod’s desirability to a new market, in mobile telecommunications, with its highly-sought-after iPhone. With many already having decided long before release that the iPhone would be their next handset, the only issue remaining seems to be how to unlock the iPhone to work with any mobile phone network and whether the legal ambiguity of such an action is a reason to reconsider acquiring this new mobile phone phenomenon.

Hype of the Apple phone Even before the iPhone’s release, technology blog and forum users were fiercely discussing its arrival. However, whereas the BlackBerry has always been a forerunner of functionality in business communications, the iPhone seeks to raise appeal of the smartphone for the personal and general user. In addition to the ability to make telephone calls, take photographs, store 8 gigabytes (GB) of music and video, and access the Internet wirelessly with the iPhone’s Wi-Fi feature, users control the phone’s function completely via touch screen, with the keypad having been replaced by a virtual “QWERTY” keyboard on screen.

Unlock for the iPhoneVery soon after the iPhone was released in the US, numerous tech-enthusiasts reported that they had already cracked the phone’s lock, tricking the phone into thinking it was connecting to chosen carrier AT&T, while in actual fact connecting to any number of other carriers.
Car stereo installation could be done without much hassle. Car Stereos, Car Alarm System, GPS Navigation Systems should be done with caution of best results. You need to look upon a company which can easily handle all of this process. Secondly you need to see the type of car stereo that you want to install in your car. It’s always better to look for a company that sells custom car stereos and also does the installation for its customers.

There are number of options available for car stereo which will make you to just not settle for anything less than the best. But you need to pay little more than what you expected. There are different companies giving car installation services with different terms and conditions. Second option is of internet which might do the trick for you. There are various websites from where you can easily serf which company dealing with custom car stereo installations. And from here you can easily check out other people’s opinions on the same.

If you are fully satisfied with a particular company’s performance then you can go out and buy the custom car stereo and go to the company you choose to have the installation done. You need to make sure that you will have all the specification to suit your car and your tastes. And simultaneously you need to keep record of the store from where you bought the various parts with the company that did the custom car installations for you. They may just come in handy the next time you need to upgrade your system.

One of the easiest things to do in car stereo installation is head units. Same size standards are followed by most of the units which is (DIN). The aftermath radio will fit in the hole in many cars once the factory radio is removed. If the factory hole is too big then a kit is need in many cars which is not too deep. There are kits that are required for installation.

Two types of mounting are there for car stereo installation. One of which is ISO mounting which is done when the radio can be screwed to existing factory radio brackets, such as in most Japanese cars. The critical part of the car stereo installation is the installation of speakers. No matter how expensive your speakers are, if they are not properly installed, the sound will not be up to the mark.

The vibration and other noise sources might occur when car stereo installation happen. It becomes impossible sometime to eliminate these things completely but there are some products that will greatly decrease the noise and rattling, particularly on non-luxury cars. Liners, sprays and adhesive strips and even carpeting applied onto the panels can make a world of difference.

Hello everyone, in this video i show you guys how to use the bluetooth on the PSP Go and connect it to a mobile phone, and be able to go on the internet and Playstation Store, using just your mobile phone, no router needed. the connection is really slow, so unfortunatly you wont be able to play any online games when connected to your Phone through Bluetooth. Hope you enjoy the Video, and remember to Subscribe.
Help answer the question about bluetooth tricks
how does a wiimote connect to a computer?
I've looked around and gotten some information, but not enough. I just assumed I'd be buying some kind of home soldered infrared dongle that tricks the remote into thinking the computer is a wii. But then I read it connects via bluetooth, which explains the godlike range of the button presses (godlike when i thought it was purely IR) but my question is, when you sync the wiimote to the computer over bluetooth, how does the computer know which direction it's pointing? do I still need a sensor bar adapter?

A Bluetooth is a single digital wireless protocol that utilizes the short-ranged communications technology. It facilitates both voice and data transmissions over a short distance, usually from a mobile device. In turn, it creates a personal area network (Pans). Bluetooth headsets are quickly becoming a fashion accessory and offers interesting features. Thus, it is capable of connecting multiple devices in the wireless age.

A Bluetooth is a single digital wireless protocol that utilizes the short-ranged communications technology. It facilitates both voice and data transmissions over a short distance, usually from a mobile device. In turn, it creates a personal area network (Pans). The intent behind the Bluetooth development is to provide a way in order to connect and exchange information between many devices. Examples would include mobile phones, telephones, computers and laptops, along with printers, digital cameras, videogame consoles and GPS receivers. This also comes with a secure and globally unlicensed Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) of 2.4 GHz of short ranged radio frequency bandwidth.

Hence, a 10th century Danish king, Harald Blatand, is where the “Bluetooth” got its name. Blatand I unified Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The king had an affinity for teeth-staining blueberries, according to legend.

This device was first developed by Ericsson and was actually formalized in 1999, Bluetooth has then provided its own way of differentiating a device that is capable of communicating with other similar devices. This is through the sending data via a low cost and secure radio frequency. Its specifications were later developed and licensed by the so-called Bluetooth Special Interest Group (areas of telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics).

Moreover, the Bluetooth SIG, is currently releasing newer versions, along with several upgrades and backward compatibility. Bluetooth 1.2 is the most recent release. It includes the addition of an anonymity mode, which then masks the hardware address of the device in order to protect it from identity snooping and tracking. It also cuts the interference by avoiding crowded frequencies of adaptive frequency hopping.

Bluetooth headsets offer a convenient and user-friendly wireless connection. This is with the use of a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. With its 30 feet range (10 meters) capacity, cell phones can talk with other headsets using this technology. Aside from this, PCs can talk to keyboards or printers as well. Thus, talking with each other, without the need for wires can make up about seven connections at a single time. This is even with a speed of 1 Mbps.

Furthermore, Bluetooth headsets have an array of different styles to choose from. A model with a boom or without boom might be the best type that can fit your needs. A boom is a traditional headset equipped with a microphone. It arches towards your mouth. Headsets with boom are as follows:

•	Bluetake BT400 GII Bluetooth Headset

Bluetake is lightweight and have a comfortable fit. The volume is loud enough but the audio isn’t the best. It is somewhat static because of its tiny buttons. It somehow resembles the ones in the sci-fi movies of the late 1960s. With its changeable faceplates and foldaway boom, it definitely adds a plus factor to its design. Bluetake makes up about 4 hours of actual talk time and about 4.2 days of standby time.

•	GN Netcom GN6110

GN Netcom can connect simultaneously with two phones, a landline and a cell phone. You only need to press the release button in order to get the headset out of the recharging cradle. Although it is lightweight, its audio quality is also good but it is a tight fit with an unattractive style. GN Netcom includes an adapter and it is compatible with Bluetooth 1.1. Thus, it provides a talk time of about four hours and about seven days of standby time.

•	Jabra FreeSpeak BT250

This headset is a winner. Like a cyborg, Jabra FreeSpeak BT250 is comfortable, along with its high volume and clarity capability. It will make you think that you’re not even using it. With its innovative design, it is more like a science fiction movie prop. You can also get this quality headset for the price of $99.95. Thus, the headset weighs only 0.8 ounce and it is compatible with Bluetooth 1.1. Jabra also gives a total of 8 hours talk time and up to 10 days of actual standby time. Lastly, it includes a travel charger. This is two pieces, making it a bit bulky.

•	Jabra GN-6210 Office Wireless Headset

The headset itself is identical to the crescent shaped of Jabra BT250. It employs a wraparound design and a short boom mike which holds the battery and control buttons. The GN 6210 can be used simultaneously with a Bluetooth mobile or a landline phone. This is by simply plugging it into the charging cradle. The price for this baby would range from $115.62 up to $203. It has along battery life, but it has problems with call quality. Thus, the GN 6210 has a talk-time battery life of about 8 hours and a standby time of about 7 days.

•	Logitech Mobile Bluetooth headset

Logitech can make quality and practical headsets but not completely stylish ones that are also compatible with Bluetooth 1.1. This headset has an easy-press button and a great foldable boom microphone. It was also tested on the Nokia 6820, Motorola V600 and the Sony Ericsson T616. During the testing, clear conversations were encountered on both ends. Logitech can give up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 30 days of standby time.

•	Logitech Mobile Freedom Bluetooth Headset

Mobile Freedom got its big points in its comfort ability and solid sound quality. Black in color, Logitech design is actually a little smaller and a bit stylish. Sound quality is excellent and conversations are clearer in this headset. Thus, the headset has user-friendly controls and it is light as well. It promises a talk time of up to 7 hours and a standby time of up to 10 days.

•	Motorola HS8910 Bluetooth Wireless Headset

•	Solteras Halo BTH headset

•	VXI BlueParrott B100 wireless headset

BlueParrott can work with a landline phone and a Bluetooth-enabled mobile. It comes with a stylish charging base, but the over-head design may not be appealing. It has a rated talk-time of six hours and up to 4.16 days of standby time.

Headsets without booms are the ones that its microphone is located on the earpiece. Some models are as follows:

•	Bluespoon Digital Bluetooth headset

Bluespoon takes a few tries to fit. Aside from this, the earpiece digs comfortably against your ear canal. It also has an eye-catching and small design that stands out because of its style. Thus, it provides good volume and clarity.

Thus, this headset’s performance is below par and likewise cut out for only a few feet away from the phone. This is along with its fuzzy reception.

•	Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset HBH-65

This rectangular Sony Ericsson comes with a blue and silver coloration. It is actually light and the ear loop snaps off easily. Callers can hear the person on the other line easily but the signal gets cuts out few times. The sound quality has mixed variations. Thus, it uses the same charger as other Ericsson phones.

With the oddball name of “Bluetooth”, IDC now estimates that there will be more than 100 million Bluetooth devices by the end of 2008.

Although Bluetooth has some security problems, such as bluebugging, where in a hacker can secretly accesses a phone’s commands and bluesnarfing, where in a hacker can access a phone’s data such as its contacts, Bluetooth devices can be locked with the input of a code. You can also turn it off when it is not in use. These are indicated as a few security measures for your device.

Hence, you can now find Bluetooth devices in a different array of products, even in cars. By the end of the year, there is a projected new set of Bluetooth version 2.0’s which will be released. These versions will have the enhancements of the narrowband channels. These versions will also enable messages, even without the pairing process, to be broadcasted to a high number of devices that have a high connection speed of up to 12 Mbps. Thus, with the constant evolution of technology, surely, more improved and enhanced versions of the Bluetooth will be produced.
